A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...
The Emperor's plan to instill fear across the rebel elements of his empire with the destruction of Alderaan backfired when a small rebel fleet based on the fourth moon of Yavin succeeded in destroying the giant Imperial battle station Death Star. Word of the massacre of Alderaan and the Rebel's victory spread quickly throughout the known galaxy and simultaneously showed the Imperial Navy's unimaginable cruelty and the Rebellion's strength, bravery and ingenuity. Many systems that had previously been unhappy under the firm rule of the Empire were hopeful that the Rebellion would be able to initiate changes to Imperial Policy.
Emperor Palpatine's disbanding of the Senate has allowed Senator Mon Mothma to increase her involvement with the Rebellion against the Empire. Capitalizing on their recent success, Mon Mothma has redoubled her efforts of diplomacy and continues to rally more systems to ally with the Rebellion.
But the mighty Empire is far from defeat and has redoubled their efforts to find and crush the nimble rebellion before it spreads out of control.
On the remote planet of Tatooine, a new and highly classified rebel cell has been established under the leadership of Aji Fokke and Zazo Flyrider called the Dominus Nihil project which seeks to create a fully self reliant Special Forces Black Ops team with minimal oversight by the Rebel Alliance as a means of combating the Empire's most elite forces, the 501st and LFD.
The city of Mos Nihil has been created in the valley of an enormous crater and shields the underground military instillation beneath it from imperial probes, provides the homes for those involved in the project, the factories of Moonsyne Industries (the largest corporation owned by Dominus Nihil which brings in the bulk of its revenue) and supplies a corporate district where those goods were sold.
