Q: What does Dominus Nihil mean?
A: Dominus Nihil is a rough Latin translation meaning "Masters of Nothing." The original founders in SWG had not mastered any professions at the founding of the guild, therefore, they deemed the name appropriate.
Q: What games do DN members play?
A: DN has guilds in the following games: Star Wars Galaxies, World of Warcraft, SWGEmu eXile server, City of Heroes, EVE Online, and Global Agenda. Many members also unite playing online FPS games or Xbox Live.
Q: How can I join DN?
A: First, visit our recruitment/application page, and read some of the material presented there. Then, you can post an application in the "Application" forum for the game you are interested in and an Elder or Guildleader from that game will set you up with access and permissions! Each games have their own requirements for membership, however once you are a member of DN in one game, you are in all the others as well!
Q: Who leads Dominus Nihil?
A: Dominus Nihil is lead in what is called a Council/Elder system. The Dominus Nihil Senior Council leads the guild as a whole, but for each game, there is also a Guildleader and a Council of Elders particularly for that game. More information can be found about this on the leadership page.
Q: What benefits do I gain from joining DN?
A: First off, we are a relaxed group of mature gamers, therefore, we often don't offer say "500 gold if you join", however our members strive to assist others whenever possible and will often go out of their way to help. DN also maintains active Forums and a Ventrilo server for your use. As a guild, we also link to important sites and guides when possible as well as help build friendships and commrodery outside of the game for those of us that cannot play as much as elite gamers.

A: Dominus Nihil was founded in Star Wars Galaxies (SWG) on September 5, 2003.
Q: Can I be on the Council?
A: Each Council of Elders chooses its own members, and they are often selected from members who have shown exemplary service to the guild and who have been active for a good period of time. Senior Councilors are DNers that have been around since the stone ages, most are or have been Guildleaders and serve actively to run Dominus Nihil.
Q: What is DN's motto?
A: "Singularus Infensus, Coitio Invictus." It is also Latin for "alone we are strong, together we are invincible."

A: Yes! Visit our Guild Finance forum for directions on how to send donations. All funds will be used to pay for forums, Ventrilo, website costs, and other improvements.
Q: What will get me kicked out of DN?
A: Well all of the following but not exclusive to: any exploits, inappropriate forum behavior for either a particular game or DN forums, stealing zazo's puddin!, general asshattery, expecting that because you are in a guild we work for you, bots and or breaking the games policies... pretty much anything that would get you kicked out of the game will get you kicked out here, and anything that reflects poorly on the guild as a whole.
